Village Sponsors Electronic Recycling Opportunity Saturday


Citizens can recycle anything with a cord and anything metal at Glen Carbon on Saturday. The village e-bike event will take place between 9 a.m. and noon at the Village Hall, located at 151 North Main St.

Citizens can bring computer servers, switches, personal computer towers, printers and other technical equipment. Landline phones, set-top boxes, cell phones, wireless modems, servers, audio and video equipment, cables, Christmas lights, home electronics, printers, additional telecommunications items, and batteries lead will also be accepted.

All types of televisions: Cathode ray tube (CRT), console, projection, plasma and flat screens; as well as computer screens, will be accepted for a fee ($5 to $35 depending on size and type).


Adverse weather conditions may cancel the event. In case of cancellation of the event, the postponement date will be published on the CJD E-Cycling Facebook page.
