Town of Woburn: Appliance, Freon, CRT and Electronics Recycling Collection – Saturday, June 18

2022-06-06

SATURDAY. May 21, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Medeiros Crew Recycling group is once again organizing recycling campaigns for household appliances, freon, CRT and electronics. The next event is on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Spence Farm property located at 41 Wyman Street in Woburn.

This is a great opportunity to recycle these items at minimal cost, while supporting a local group or organization each month. There are significant savings compared to the higher cost associated with curbside appliance recycling programs. In Woburn, the cost of curbside collection of many of these items has increased again in 2021.

Recycling drives at Spence Farm are open to residents and businesses from all communities, not just Woburn.

Thanks to your support, over the years these drives have raised more than $220,000 for local non-profit organizations, as well as several thousand dollars in donations to the Woburn Memorial High School Scholarship Fund. So clean out those basements, attics, garages and warehouses and bring your items to the next drive on Saturday, May 21.

If you cannot make this collection, please note that the next collection will take place on Saturday, June 18, and is the last until September.
