A special food drive will benefit two organizations in Salina. The City of Salina Drive-Thru Recycling Center will be holding a ‘Generosity and Recycling Food Drive’ to benefit the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank and Salina Animal Services.
This free event takes place this Saturday, December 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the recycling center located at 125 West North Street,
The Town says everyone is invited to stop by with their donation of human or animal food and greet the season to Santa Claus, grab a hot chocolate kit, collect loot, check out the centre’s daily operations. recycling and maybe even take home your new best friend. Animal Services will be bringing in some of their adorable adoptable dogs.
This family event strives to foster community unity through generosity and recognition of our local support systems. Any unopened food or feed donations will be greatly appreciated.
Parking for the event is available in the parking lots and along the south fence outside the facility facing the mural.
