Acquisition Expands LRS North Illinois footprint, adding nearly 2,000 commercial customers, and municipal services for residents of McHenry Countythe Wonder Lake Village, Village of Johnsburg, Mettawa Village, Township of Avon and large areas everywhere Lake County.
Founded by Tim and Janelle Peterson in 2008, the acquisition of Lakes Disposal completes that of LRS October 2021 acquisition of many GFL assets, including 16 municipalities in the far north Illinoiswhich was previously owned by Prairieland Disposal and Recycling Services.
