HAMPSTEAD — The Hampstead Lions Club will hold its annual Appliance, Scrap Metal and Electronics Recycling fundraiser on Saturday, April 23 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hampstead Middle School in Hampstead. All funds raised will go to Lions charitable efforts in the local community.
Examples of charges are: washers, dryers, stoves and dishwashers – $15.00; refrigerators, water heaters, freezers, air conditioners – $20.00; computers: complete systems – $35.00, CRT monitors up to 27” $25.00, flat panel monitors up to 27” $10.00, processors or laptops – $15.00 each, printer – 5.00 $, telephones – $1.00, small appliances (microwaves, fax machines, etc.) – $5.00; TVs: up to 27″ $20.00, over 27″, and consoles and projection TVs are $30.00-$40.00 depending on size. Some bulk scrap items, such as barbecue grills ($10.00) and empty propane tanks with valves removed ($10.00), may also be accepted.
The Hampstead Lions Club thanks you for your support in helping us serve our neighbors in need. They will have a limited pick up service available for an additional fee if you have items to recycle but cannot bring them to the event.
