Items accepted at Somerset recycling centers

All household waste is collected, including garden waste at all sites.

Some accepted waste has an additional cost, including tires, gas cylinders, soil and vehicle parts, as well as asbestos and plasterboard which requires prior reservation online. Indeed, these items are not classified as household waste according to the Regulation respecting controlled waste.

For prices, visit the Somerset Waste Partnership website.

All recycling sites accept household plastic bottles, including those for milk, bleach, juice, shampoo, etc.

They will also accept household and food-grade rigid plastic jars, tubs and trays, such as those for margarine and yogurt.

However, they do not come out of the plastic containers of the garage or shed, due to the risks associated with the contents, such as pesticides and brake fluid.
