  1. Former U.S. Vice President Mike Pence stopped by the Cumming Cigar Company on Tuesday to endorse Georgia Governor Brian Kemp ahead of the November 8 midterm elections. “Vote Georgia! Vote to re-elect Brian Kemp for another four years,” Pence told supporters. Kemp takes on Democratic challenger Stacie Abrams in a 2018 Candidates Election rematch. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  2. Keep Forsyth County Beautiful, in partnership with the Forsyth County Solid Waste and Recycling Department and the Town of Cumming, will host a Recycling and Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 5 at the Cumming Fairground car park. 3, 235 Castleberry Road. Pre-registration is mandatory and the number of registrants is limited. The event is free but a $5 donation to KFCB is suggested. (KFCB)
  3. It’s the season. Halcyon Forsyth will host a Holiday Artist Market this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature unique handmade items by talented local artists. Limited places remain for artists. For more information, contact kristendinh@icloud.com. (Halcyon Forsyth)
